Deletion Request

1) How to request deletion

Please send a request using one of the following methods:

Option A — Email

• Email: info@aqaraksd.com
• Subject: Data Deletion Request
• Include:
  • Your registered phone number (with country code)
  • Your full name (optional)
  • Your AqarakSD account email (if used)
  • A short message: “Please delete my account and personal data.”

Option B — In-App Request
If available inside the app:

• Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account
• Follow the on-screen steps to confirm.

2) What data will be deleted

When we process your deletion request, we will delete (or anonymize where applicable):

• Your AqarakSD profile data (name, phone, email)
• Login and verification records (where legally allowed)
• Saved properties, favorites, and app preferences
• User-generated content associated with your account (if applicable)

3) What data may be retained

In some cases, we may need to retain certain data for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or financial compliance reasons, such as:

• Transaction records (if any)
• Security logs and audit records
• Data required to comply with applicable laws and regulations

When retained, access is restricted and the data is kept only for the required period.

4) Processing time

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days of verifying ownership of the account. In some cases, verification or legal requirements may extend this period.

5) Identity verification

To protect your account, we may ask for additional verification (for example, confirming the phone number via OTP) before completing the deletion.
